Title	Status of Wildlife Populations
Abstract	Data describing the status of wildlife populations in the state, and harvest statistics, are compiled annually in this database. Species covered are badger, bear, beaver, black duck, bobcat, bufflehead, canvasback, domestic cats and dogs, american coot, eastern cottontail, coyote, sandhill crane, white-tailed deer, mourning dove, ducks, eagle, ermine, fisher, fox (red), fox (gray), gadwall, gallinules, geese (other than Canada), Canada geese, goldeneye, ruffed grouse, sharp-tailed grouse, spruce grouse, snowshoe hare, white-tailed jackrabbit, lynx, mallard, pine marten, hooded merganser, mink, moose, muskrat, opossum, otter, gray partridge, ring-necked pheasant, pintail, greater prairie chicken, raccoon, rails, redhead, ring-necked duck, ruddy duck, greater scaup, lesser scaup, scoter, northern shoveler, spotted skunk, striped skunk, common snipe, fox squirrel, gray squirrel, blue-winged teal, green-winged teal, wild turkey, long-tailed weasel, short-tailed weasel, American wigeon, gray wolf, American woodcock, and wood duck. Data have been collected since 1976.
Purpose	To compile data collected primarily in the field offices of DNR for use in administration, and in the development of hunting and tripping harvest estimates
