Forest Roads - Proposal

4/13/00 - Working Plan

GENERAL STATEMENT

ROAD COORDINATION PROJECT - NE LANDSCAPE

The Coordination Working Group for the NE Region Landscape Committee (see Attachment A) is proposing a Road Coordination Project.  This project will provide all partners with many benefits, however, it takes a considerable effort from those who participate.

Before this can be successful, there needs to be a commitment by all major land managers to meet deadlines and complete the necessary work.

Therefore, the Forest Resources Council and the Forest Partnership need to recognize the value and benefits and fully support this project (see Attachment B).  Without full support, the necessary coordination and the required energy to successfully complete this project will not exist.
