Enhancing the access and use of forest resources data in Minnesota.
The coordination working group, which is part of the Northeast Regional Landscape, has started a project aimed at collecting forest road GIS data over multiple ownerships. It involves public and private forest managers sharing their forest road GIS data, and having it combined into one data layer that can be used in forest planning over multiple ownerships.
The following links lead to pages that describe the project in more
detail. Please read through these pages, and if you have any questions
contact Chad Skally (Forest Resources
Council Staff) at 651-296-0757 - chad.skally@dnr.state.mn.us,
or one of the working group members
listed on the proposal page.
