Purpose	A land and resource management plan for Superior National Forest is required by federal law. The purpose of the plan is to provide for multiple use and the sustained yield of goods and services from National Forest System
Progress	Complete
Maintenance and Update Frequency	National Forest plans are revised on a 10-15 year cycle. The Superior Forest Plan is currently under revision, with an intended completion date of 2000. The Notice of Intent for the revision process will be issued in August, 1997.
