Harvest and Regeneration Reports

Currently 2 public agencies collect harvesting and regeneration information in Minnesota, the MN Department of Natural Resources(DNR), and the US Forest Service(USFS).  These agencies work together in collecting the information, and produce separate reports.  The DNR collects the harvesting information on sawtimber and fuelwood, while the USFS collects information on pulpwood.  Both agencies use surveys to collect their harvest information.  Regeneration information is also collected by both agencies, usually based on information from specific ownerships.
